I’m Jonte, based in Auckland, New Zealand. For the last three years I’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder with Steve Richardson, a long-time collaborator.

Together, we sit in a slightly different – and still quite empty – space in the New Zealand market:

WHAT WE’VE SEEN
In New Zealand, there’s no shortage of smart agencies or smart consultants.
But there is a gap.
Brand and marketing are often treated as “comms” that sit on the surface of the business – separate from the operating model, the commercial reality, the growth cycle, the market context.
We see the cost of that every day:
brands that look good but don’t move the numbers,
and businesses that are commercially strong but strategically invisible.
For us, the work only really lands when those two worlds are one conversation.

We’re small on purpose.
We’d rather work deeply with a handful of organisations that genuinely want to connect their brand, business model and market opportunity – and are willing to do the thinking and the changing that requires.
